Easter Holiday 2012

We have several ways for you, your family, church, business or group to get involved this Spring! Our main Event is on Easter Sunday, April 8th, 2012: Easter Dinner and Easter Basket Giveaway. Volunteers are needed for that day, as well as all the preparation work that goes into this day.

Please note that a Volunteer Application must be completed before you can sign up for volunteer time, and sign-ups are on a first come, first serve basis starting Tuesday, March 1st. You must be 10 years old to volunteer on site. Groups sign ups of 10 or more are not available on site. A Volunteer Application can be obtained here

Off Site Volunteering – Perfect for Groups! Food Drive – The Mission is always in need of food donations, especially during the Holidays! Here is a list of what food items we need the most:

Ham and other meat – can be fresh, frozen or canned
Yams
Mashed potato mix
Stuffing mix
Cookies, Cupcakes, and Pies
Decorated hard boiled eggs (Starting Monday, April 2nd)
Coffee and other drink mixes

Easter Baskets

We are collecting filled Easter Baskets to give to kids on Easter Sunday. Please see the list below for what should go in the basket. All Baskets can be dropped off by Sunday, March 25th at 1335 Pacific Avenue on the northwest corner of the Pacific and Anaheim Intersection.
