John Zimmermann, ext. 115
Business Manager

John came to LBRM after working as a Plant Controller (accounting) in aerospace and manufacturing companies. He has a great desire to support activities (such as LBRM) that are involved with rebuilding people’s lives. John oversees all accounting functions, contracts for capital improvements & repairs, and purchasing. He has been recognized with the Annual Recognition for Excellence award these last two years. He and his wife, Beth, have a son, Robert, a daughter, Christine, and 3 grandchildren. John has served as a church elder, treasurer, BSF group facilitator and many other ministry functions.


Marty Annette Hill, ext. 302
Women and Families Ministry Director

Marty began service with Long Beach Rescue Mission in March 2004 as a Lead Case Manager. She was recently appointed as the Director of Women’s Ministries where she oversees services and accommodations for a 45-Bed facility and directs client case management services and programs. Marty works effectively with homeless individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds and issues ranging from domestic violence, mental illness and housing. Her life-long dream is realized through her service to homeless women and children as she encourages them to move forward despite difficulties and setbacks and provides direction and assistance with re-entering society.


Fred Sigrist, ext. 219
Food Services Director

Fred came to Long Beach Rescue Mission in January, 1987 with several years of corporate food service experience. His favorite part of this ministry is the interaction with the men in the New Life Program. He also is glad for opportunities to include his family in the work.


Jesse Krohmer, ext. 113
Associate Director

Jesse began working at LBRM after having served as a pastor for 5 years at a church in Long Beach. He received his BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and has worked as a biomechanical engineer, high school math teacher, and youth pastor. As Community Development Director, Jesse helps LBRM reach out to areas of our community. He also works to serve our supporters. His desire is to help everyone understand how they can be a part of reaching and helping the homeless and less fortunate of our community. He’s married to the beautiful Lara Krohmer.


Jenn Gold, ext. 110
Volunteer Coordinator

Jenn works as the volunteer coordinator and administrative assistant. After actively serving as a volunteer at Long Beach Rescue Mission for the past three years, she officially joined the staff in December. Her favorite part of her job is providing groups with overnight missions experiences at LBRM, but she loves seeing all the volunteers give of themselves to help those less fortunate. Jenn graduated from Long Beach State in December with her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology, and when she’s not at work she enjoys watching sports and going to the beach.
